Joke: Protecting your phone is protecting our earth?

Recently powerful storms pound several central US states, people live around there all get into panic. At the same time, nearly ten million people in China's central Hubei province have been hit by a severe drought that dried up water sources and destroyed thousands of hectares of crops. Nothing left, only broken heats .Yes, I have warned you, our nature says. Recall the Japanese earthquake, Haiti tsunami, I’m hurt, our earth says again. Is there anybody hear that? No.  Well, that’s why we need World Environment Day.

World Environment Day,however, there are not many people know it, maybe some environment know. That’s a tragedy. In these days, nobody ask why we need world Environment Day, people ask what we can do to support it. I don’t suggest that we can use electric-driven cars or things like that. It’s for rich. It’s a trend and a concept right now. We need something realistic. Like “Kick the Habit”. There are something all people can do right now. And one of those I suggest is that we can easily support it when we use some common stuff for longer time.  Not like recycling, we protect them consciously before it is thrown to the dustbin. For example, we can use a phone for more years than we usually do. It protects our earth from two ways.

1.      Since we use our phone for longer time, we don’t need phones as many as we usually do. Therefore the source are saved.

2.      At the same time, since we don’t abandon our phone soon. Not so much electronic rubbish are generated.

Well, how we can protect our phones. There are two ways, too.

1.      Get a case for your phone. No matter it’s an iPhone, Blackberry, HTC, it needs to be handed by people’s hand. It will be put in bags, pocket and places with keys, cards and things like that. All these may hurt your phone. iPhone cases can protect it from bad situations. Moreover, you can have a designer iphone case with angry bird or flower printed, it will show your personality for sure, which is highly sought after by todays’ youth.

2.      Try to Cure your phone when it has a little “cold”. Do not be so lazy. Opening a back cover, or changing the battery is very easy. All the iphone replacement parts can be easily found as well as how to videos.

So that’s not a joke, protecting your phone can protect our earth. And it is easy to operate. Everyone can join.
