Creative Promotion Ways for iPad


I just watched a video titled “Will It Blend? - iPad”. I was scared to see a man who wears a doctor’s uniform turning an iPad into piece in 1 minute. In the short video, he first smashed the iPad several times on the base of a blender, then folded it into the blender and blend it into piece.  And the viewers are huge: 11,808,532. For the first sight, I think it’s weirdly funny. But when I dig in it, I felt it is somebody’s tactics to promote its blender. After put the channel name on the address, it comes out a blender online store with a banner with the video owner there. Well, this video is amazing, how we can use it to our iPad 2 cases promotion?


Is that smart? Sure it is. This blender store shows the high quality and amazing feature of their products in a crazy and efficient way. People not only get funs from that, but also are deeply impressed by the blender. And some of them may consider to buy one. As it doesn’t mention anything of their products in description as well as the video, people won’t think it’s a promotion at first sight and resist it instantly. It can be deduced that the blender is the keynote in this video after watching. No words of blender can help people to watch through it.  People hate to be fooled by business owners. But in this video, people gets more fun than the feel of being fooled.
So when we promoted our iPad cases, we always follow the old steps. A man talks a lot good thing of the product on youtube.com and nobody buys it. People are smarter today. You have to offer them a reason why to choose your products rather than other various options. If your product features high quality, then show us some proof. So you need to think these things:
1.       What’s the advantage of your iPad covers: cheap, high quality or most types?
2.       What’s your niche: Girls, Boys, fashion guys, tech freaks?
3.       How to shoot a video to show the features completely to convince the customers?
4.       How to make the video not so commercial?
5.       How to impress your target audiences with a subtle way?
If we figure out this points, our iPad 2 cases will fly off our warehouse soon.
