Blackberry Torch 9850 Available for Verizon on Sep. 8th

RIM will launch the third touch screen smartphone Blackberry Torch 9850 available for Verizon on Sep 8th. This phone is equipped with Blackberry 7 and a 3.7" touch screen. It runs a single 1.2GHz processor. Other noticeable elements is a 5MP camera and HD video recording. It sells at $199.99 with a two-year contrast. Well, this must appeal to BB fans. But not attractive to others. Blackberry 7 still can't compete with iOS and Android.

Following a current report from comscore.com, RIM drops 4% market off while Andorid grows 5.4% and iOS grows 1%. It was caculated iOS and Android together comanded more than 70% market share. It's true that Blackberry can hardly compare to Android's Samsung Galaxy S II as well as the coming Droid Bonic from Motolora. That's why RIM Urged by Investor Jaguar to Sell Itself or Spin Off Wireless Patents. Well, RIM should work hard to survive in this competitive market.
