How Google, HTC, Samsung Defend to Apple's Patent Lawsuit

Defend
Since Andorid sales rised rapidly, Apple and Microsoft hasn't stopped trying ways to block it, lawsuit and license fee, which drives Android manufacture in a whirlpool. The focus of all the problem is patent. As a network-based company, Google can hardly compete with Apple who has a long time and glorious device experience. Three major Andorid device manufacture includes HTC,Samsung and Motorola face a lot of stress. Well, 2011 is not a normal year. Let's see how the Android team defend for themselves.

1. Google & Motorola

You know why I put it on the first. If we have to list the top 10 shocking news in the technology world, Google acquire Motorola with $12.5 billion can list top 3. No clue, no evidence. It just happens. It was said Motorola's 17000 patents and 2500 applications can defend Android from Apple and other companies . It was also said Motorola can help Google to improve the performance of Google TV. Whether this decission is good for Google still wait to see. And the truth is Motorola surely get relieved.

2. HTC

HTC and Samsung are the big winners since their devices landed Android. Their products are highly sought after all over the world. And data analysic company Comscore's report shows that HTC and Samsung grow rapidly in the smartphone market. However, they also face big troubles from Apple as they are sued everytime when a new product is released. Well, HTC sometimes fight back with its own patent and got another lawsuit again as it doesn't own some sharp thing to threat the giant. Well, it seems the game changes. Days ago, Apple was sued by HTC with the patents obtained from Google. Finally, HTC can talk with Apple at the same level now. Apple declined to respond. And we can keep an eye on it.

3. Samsung

Samsung has a glorious year and also a bad lucky year. First, Samsung Galaxy S II series get huge success over the world. Bad news is its backer Google bought Motorola, and another open operating system inventor Microsoft set a contrast with Nokia offering a lot of benefits. It seems Samsung was forgotten. To be worse, Apple sued it on every Honycom based tablet released, Tab Galaxy 10.1, Tab Galayx 7.7, both are baned in Germany. Therefore it ties up with Microsoft for tablets. According to The Korea Economic Daily, citing an industry source, said the new tab based on the Windows 8 system would be unveiled at Microsoft's BUILD developers' conference in California from September 13-16. This is the Samsung's defend. It bets on both sides: Android and Wphone.

Following Comscore's newest data, Android has taken over 40% shares in smartphone market. And things may change when iPhone 5 is released and Nokia starts to release Wphone. And three different methods Android's manufacture takes to defend, which is smarter?
